The Women's Department of First Assembly offers a variety of classes, lectures, and other resources that will help each woman grow in her walk with Christ. No one understands women like women. These events are led and taught by qualified women of God. As our character is developed through loving fellowship, prayer, the sharing of experiences, needs, visions, and victories, we will develop a bolder witness to the work of the Holy Spirit in our lives. Through the power of the Holy Spirit, we will be better equipped to reach a lost and dying world.

Starting July 7, we will be starting a new bible study by beth moore:

"Esther: It's tough being a woman"

This study requires a workbook and it is available to purchase for $15.

**"Chik Chat"

every first wednesday of the month we will be having a time of food, fellowship and a brief devo. (shared by a different lady each month) This will be a great way to build friendships and grow the Women's program at first assembly.

	MOPS - 1st and 3rd Wednesdays of every month ~ 9:45 a.m. MOPS exists to meet the needs of every mom - stay-at-home and working moms, teens, single and married moms - moms with different lifestyles who all share a similar desire to be the very best moms they can be!  MOPS recognizes that the years from infancy through kindergarten are foundational in a mother-child relationship and are filled with unique needs.  Click on the logo to find out more about meeting times and our line up for each month.
	Alcy Community Outreach Join us saturdays at alcy park for sidewalk sunday school: a ministry to the women and children of the alcy community. A bus leaves the church at 8:45 am
	The Father's Food Closet if you have any questions about what kind of food items to contribute,   contact Christa cschaade@famemphis.net or pastor alette.  there are  collection bins at each welcome center.  All items are to be non-perishable.
